A reminder that nominations for the 2021 Hans Karlsson Award are being accepted through Sunday, 11 October 2020. Please encourage nominations from your standards committees.
The Karlsson Award is the IEEE CS major award that recognizes contributions to standards development. Eligibility is limited to present or past participants in IEEE CS standards activities.
The award is presented for "outstanding skills and dedication to diplomacy, team facilitation and joint achievement, in the development or promotion of standards in the computer industry where individual aspirations, corporate competition, and organizational rivalry could be otherwise counter to the benefit of society."
