[STDS-802-11] P802.11REVmd D5.0 was approved/ratified by the IEEE SASB today

Dear 802.11 members,

I am happy to report that the IEEE Standards Association Standards Board has approved the RevCom recommendation for approval of P802.11REVmd D5.0.

With this action, P802.11REVmd D5.0 will become IEEE Std 802.11-2020. Publication is expected in February 2021.

Congratulations to all that have supported the P802.11REVmd revision project!
TGmd editors Emily Qi and Edward Au, together with Robert Stacey and Peter Ecclesine will be working  with IEEE SA publication staff towards publication of the standard.
