hello all,

there is an FCC NPRM on 57-64GHz and motion sensing radars.  we also have IEEE 802.11 and 802.15 standards in this frequency range and some concern on coexistence.  with that, reply comments on this NPRM are being worked on.  here is the link to the initial draft reply comments:

https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/dcn/21/18-21-0110-00-0000-reply-comments-of-ieee-802-60-ghz-motion-sensing-fcc-nprm-et-21-264.docx

in the .18 meeting today we set up two ad hoc calls for next week to work on the reply comments. below is the call-in information and it is also on the IEEE 802 calendar. https://ieee802.org/802tele_calendar.html

21sep21 – tuesday – 1500-1600 et

22sep21 – wednesday – 1500-1600 et

they are set up for 90mins long, in case we run long or maybe a few want a break out session after, etc.

further below is more info on the NPRM from the .18 weekly agenda.

any questions, please pass along.

thanks
