Dear 802.18 members,
cc 802.11, 802.15, and 802.19 members,

In the upcoming FCC Open Commission April 2023 meeting, the Commission will consider a policy statement "Promoting Efficient Use of Spectrum and Opportunities for New Services" that may consist of the following 3 categories:
a)  Interference realities
b)  Shared responsibilities
c)  Data-driven regulatory approaches to promote coexistence

The draft policy statement is available at:

Please note that it is not a final version adopted by the Commission and the contents may change.  On 30 March 2023, OET opens a docket on this topic, and it is ET Docket No. 23-122.
