The ITU-R WRC-23 concluded earlier today (15 December 23).
For the 6 GHz topic in agenda item 1.2, the following is a short summary:
1) In one footnote, 6425 MHz to 7125 MHz in Region 1 and 7025 MHz to 7125 MHz in Region 3 are identified for IMT. In the same footnote, a provision is added that the frequency bands are also used for the implementation of wireless access systems, including RLANs.
2) In another footnote, the frequency band 6425 MHz to 7025 MHz in Cambodia, Lao P.D.R. and the Maldives is identified for IMT. No provision similar to the previous item is added.
3) In yet another footnote, the frequency band 6425 MHz to 7125 MHz in Brazil and Mexico is identified for IMT. In the same footnote, a provision is added that the frequency bands are also used for the implementation of wireless access systems, including RLANs.
