--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---
All, P802REVc met today, and resolved all comments on the latest Working Group ballot, with no changes to the draft. As such, the P802REVc draft will now start Initial SA ballot, to close before the plenary in July. 802.11 did have three comments, 2 technical and 1 editorial. It was agreed to make no changes to the draft at this time, as the technical comments were on unchanged text and the editorial one can be left to the professional editing prior to publication. (Of course, that really means we can re-submit these comments during SA ballot, and have them considered further/again. I will plan to discuss these comments during the first ARC meeting slot in July (but, see below), in preparation for P802REVc considering them further during the plenary week.) P802REVc (really 802.1 Maintenance) will tentatively meet during the plenary week on Monday PM1 and Wednesday AM1. I suggest that ARC have a meeting slot between those times (probably Tuesday morning – we’ll have to see what fits during the 802.11 CAC call). I’m open to also having an ARC slot before the first P802REVc slot, if we think that would be useful, to discuss our thoughts on comments submitted on the Initial SA ballot. Since this is a plenary week, the Working Group (802.11) Opening Plenary meeting will be Monday AM2, so the ARC slot would have to be Monday AM1 (pre-meeting). Anyone with interest, please let me know your thoughts for such an ARC meeting slot. And, finally, if anyone needs help with getting comments into the SA ballot, let me know. Thanks.
