Hello Robert, Thank you for pointing this out.
I am including Henry and Jouni here in case they have any concerns on using Bit 12.
@Henry Ptasinski
@Jouni Malinen Please note using Bit 12 for “BIP Compact Encapsulation” was proposed in doc 23/1777r7 (Henry’s submission). Regards, Emily From: Stacey, Robert <robert.stacey@xxxxxxxxx>
Hello Emily, Allocated as requested – Bit 12 of RSN Capability is now "BIP Compact Encapsulation". This field was "reserved previously allocated". Before it became reserved it was "Protected Block Ack Capable (PBAC)" allocated to TGmb. I'm assuming the group is making this allocation with knowledge
of its history and potential use in prior implementations. Regards, -Robert From: Qi, Emily H <emily.h.qi@xxxxxxxxx> Hello Robert, I sent it again in case you missed it. Regards, Emily From: Qi, Emily H <emily.h.qi@xxxxxxxxx>
Hello Robert, Could you please assign a bit (bit 12) for
BIP Compact Encapsulation?
