IEEE 802.11 Voters, With this email, the 802.11 Working Group is officially beginning WG Technical Letter Ballot 288 (LB288), asking the question:
"Shall WG11 forward P802.11bi D1.0 to Standards Association (SA) Ballot?" The WG motion approving this recirculation WGLB was approved in the WG11 January 2025 closing plenary meeting, see

This Letter Ballot opens today and will close 30 days later on Thursday February 27, 2025 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59pm). All necessary documents are available in the instructions on the IEEE 802.11 web site at

This is a 30-day Technical letter ballot and the ballot group (i.e., those that may vote) for this ballot consists of the voters in the ballot pool.

If you cast a "Do not approve" vote on this ballot, it must be accompanied by comments for your vote to be valid.
