On 23 October 2024, Saudi Arabia CST began a consultation "Light Licensing Regulations Annex for the 6 GHz Frequency Band" that seeks public opinions on its proposal in using AFC for 6 GHz WLAN of higher transmit power, and the required technical conditions.

The official response deadline is 20 November 2024.  If you would like IEEE 802 LMSC to submit a response, please prepare a submission and bring it to IEEE 802.18 to review and consider approval no later than 4:00pm PT, Monday, November 11 (opening meeting of the IEEE 802.18 in the November 2024 plenary).
