[CC: Robert, Marc] Dear 802.18 and 802.11 members, There is a liaison statement issued to both 802.18 RR-TAG and 802.11 WG (link) pertaining to Solid-State Weather Radar operation in DFS channels. Based on my interactions with interested members and the IEEE 802.11 COEX SC Chair (Marc Emmelmann), we can continue the technical discussion on this topic and converge on a set of technical aspects that we can use as a response to the liaison statement(s). To that end, first half of the 802.18 RR-TAG weekly teleconference calls held on 9am PT/12pm ET every Thursday (from 4th June 2026 up to 25th June 2026) will be used for discussion of this topic.
