I have uploaded revision 2 of 11-26/986 addressing the topic that some of the NDPs have preamble content which is not clearly defined.

E.g., what should the value of the Coding field be for an NDP?

r1 was presented during the May IEEE meeting.

One notable change in r2 is that the document now has two potential options.

• Option 1 is essentially the same as presented during the May IEEE meeting (there are some minor changes which I will not dive into in this email - please see the doc if interested)
• Option 2 removes the changes for Ranging NDPs per offline feedback. I.e., option 2 clarifies only the sounding NDP preambles.

I am sending this email to the 802.11 reflector per suggestion from the TGm leadership.
