The IEEE P802.15 Working Group for Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs) develops Personal Area Network standards for short distance wireless networks. The following page contains the official results of the WG Letter Ballot 1 as tallied by our Technical Editor Tom Siep..
Letter Ballot 1 MOTION: To submit the contents of document IEEE P802-15/D0.6 to Sponsor Ballot [default recirculation ballot].
Letter Ballot 1 RESULT: Motion failed with 18/15/2 or 43% (P802-15/D0.6)

VOTE CATEGORY | NUMBER | PERCENTAGE |
Yea | 18 | 43% |

Total | 42 | 100% |
VOTE CATEGORY | NUMBER | PERCENTAGE |

Nea | 15 | 45% |
Total | 33 | 79% |
Note: Two (2) of our No Voters (Daniel R. McGlynn & Ivan Reede) need to submit comments and until they do the above results are valid LB1 results i.e., they are classified as a "no response" or counted in the failed to vote category until comments are provided. In other words there were 17 Nea's but 2 lacked comments to bring their No vote to a Yes. Therefore they are counted as Failed to Vote.
We have provided four (4) MS Word files for your review; please find the following files on the LB1 comments in the Letter Ballot 1 Details in a Zip (151KB) archive.
If you have problems or questions about comments contained in the aforementioned documents, I encourage interaction between the interested parties. If you have a
contrary opinion please post it to the reflector, send it to me (siep@ti.com), or (at the very least) bring it to Tel Aviv.
Official resolution of these comments will take place at our next meeting in Tel Aviv. However, the more we can get done beforehand, the more likely we will be able to address all the technical issues.
Each of the technical comments in document 99172r0aP802-15-TG1-LB1-Comments.doc must be answered (resolved) in one of the following ways:
See you in Tel Aviv,
