Overview
The IEEE 802.15 EU Regional PHY Support
Study Group (SG4s) was formed to write a PAR and 5c to define the necessary
amendment to harmonise published European standards based on IEEE 802.15.4
and supporting additional frequency bands not identified in the current IEEE
standard.
Current Status
SG4s will create the necessary Project
Authorization Request (PAR) and Five Criteria (5C) documents with the minimum
of delay, identifying the necessary amendments from the published European
standards. It is hoped that the work can be completed in time to be included in
the IEEE 802.15.4 Revision.
How to participate
The first meeting of SG4s will be via
electronic conference facilities to be announced on the IEEE 802.15.4 General
List and SG4s reflector.
SG4s conducts its discussions on the
STDS-802-15-SG4s Public Mailing List. You can learn how to subscribe to the SG4s
