Since we are hoping to draft text that hopefully
represents consensus on this topic, I would request more specific changes /
enhancements to this proposal for the group to discuss and agree on. If you can
provide some text / figures to help us make progress, that will be much
appreciated.

This
subject needs to be addressed in a broader context that would take into
consideration different types of network architectures. For example, the IP
addresses may be allocated from the same private address pool on different
VLANs. So, while your proposal raises some valid questions, I don't think it
presents a solution as the solution will need to be more
generic.
