For those who are interested in security, there's a good summary of the new MD5/SHA-O flaws and the rumors about SHA-1 (with links) at http://www.freedom-to-tinker.com/archives/000664.html SHA-1 is the hash function used in 802.16's PKMv1 for key derivation and Message Authentication Codes. PKMv2 introduces the negotiated option of using a hash based on the AES cipher instead.
