stds-802-16-tg4: TG4 STRAWMAN COMMENT

All,

Please find below the comment that figures mainly lack of (my personal)
understanding of what is the mesh mode
and the way it works. Can somebody explain or provide a reference to IEEE
document with an explanation?

Another issue is that there are general comments, at least in TG1, that were
marked as 'G', they were typically resolved
through additional development. Could it be possible to employ this type of
comments also?

Thanks

Vladimir

[Detailed Description of Proposed Insertion, Deletion, Change]
This is a general comment. The general concept of the Mesh mode is not clear
from the text. Particularly,
	1)	what is the meaning of “MAC frame” (“in the beginning of
each MAC frame…” etc.). Is it assumed that every station is using the same
frame duration? All such frames are synchronized?
	2)	Is there any mechanism that provides a reasonable
probability for the success when a station is sending its own schedule or
reservation request to the neighbors? In any network (like 802.11, Ethernet,
basic 802.16) there is such a mechanism that provides a way for the medium
sharing. What is the mechanism supposed in this case?
	3)	What happens when (all the stations are half duplex) station
A applies to B with reservation request and B applies to C with RR, both get
grants and the grants overlap? Is it assumed to recognize such collisions?
To resolve them?
