AGENDA
A Final Agenda will be forthcoming.
The primary goals of this meeting are:

(3) To agree on a framework of Working Group rules
MEMBERSHIP AND VOTING
According to 802 rules <http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/11_98_LMSC_rules.pdf>, "All persons participating in the initial meeting of the Working Group become voting members of the Working Group." In the interpretation of this rule, the initial meeting of 802.16 shall be Meeting #1, which takes place July 6-8 as part of the July 5-9 IEEE 802 Plenary Meeting in Montreal <http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/meeting>. The May 10-12 meeting has been designated Meeting #0 to recognize that it is not an official voting meeting; all votes taken at this meeting will need to be affirmed at Meeting #1.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

MEETING AND HOTEL REGISTRATION
A single registration form is used for both meeting registration and hotel room reservations. The form is available at: <http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/16/meetings/mtg00/reg.html>.
Please submit the registration form to the hotel by April 16. Beyond that cut-off date, the hotel will no longer hold rooms in our name. If space is available, the hotel will continue to offer the negotiated group rates. However, since May 14 is the start of graduation weekend at the University of Colorado at Boulder, you should reserve your room soon.
The $50 registration fee will go directly to the hotel to cover the costs of continental breakfasts and breaks as well as audio-visual equipment. (The actual costs will probably be higher than $50, but the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society has agreed to cover some expenses.) Please register for the meeting as soon as you know your plans. Early registration will help us plan the meeting space.
