Yesterday, I sent a letter to IEEE President Bruce Eisenstein 
regarding the conflict between the IEEE Standards Association and the 
ISTO. Jim Carlo posted this letter to the 802 Executive Committee 
reflector, where it is archived and publicly available:

Today I received a polite response from Dr. Eisenstein which 
indicates that he will look into the problem.
