stds-802-16: reminder of Friday deadline on Working Group Review of TG3/4
Folks,
Please don't forget the deadline of tomorrow in the Working Group
Review of the TG3/4 document. The comment period will stay open only
until the end of 19 October ("anywhere in the world"). Afterwards, a
comment report will be issued and a two-week "reply-comment" period
will begin, during which responses to the comments will be collected.
These reply-comments will be posted one week before Session #16. The
creator of each original comment will be offered the opportunity to
generate a draft comment resolution and to lead the resolution at
Session #16. Late comments,if accepted at all, will not be subject to
the reply-comment process, will not grant the commenter any status in
the comment resolution process, and will be considered only after
resolution of all timely submissions.

for more details. The deadline to submit contributed documents to
which your comments will refer has expired, but you may have an
extension as long as you number your contribution properly when you
upload it to the TG3/4 upload area. As I write, the next available
number is 802.16abc-01/43.
At Session #16 in November, we will, for the first time, vote on
approval a draft covering the TG3/4 scope. This draft will be
copyrighted and placed for sale in the IEEE catalog. Meanwhile, we
will start a Working Group Letter Ballot on that draft.
Please make completing your study of the document and submitting your
comments a high priority.
