stds-802-16: new General Information on the web site
Sweet Sixteeners:
Ever since our news releases on the approval of IEEE Standard 802.16
last week, we have been getting increasing attention from the press.
Many of the reporters are unsure of what we do. In order to make
things a bit easier for people just beginning to peer into our web
site, I have added a section on "General Information". Into it, I
have put two pages:

This is a collection of hyperlinks to over 250 pages on the web that
refer to 802.16. Some are not particularly informative, but most are.
The list is incomplete and imperfect. I put it together manually
based on some web searches. I don't plan to update it in the same
way; instead, I'll add references as I come across them. If you have
a page you'd like included, just let me know.

This is a brief overview of the group. Our Publicity Chair, Dean
Chang, is working with IEEE PR folks on an additional piece to
provide more information about wireless MANs in general.
