stds-802-16: the second 802.18 Document for Review
I have just received from Carl Stevenson the second 802.18 document
for review. I have put it on the WG upload server as
80218-02_005r0.doc. Because of Carl's tight schedule, I'd like to
review and approve both this and the earlier document
(80218-02_002r0.doc) on Monday, if possible.
By the way, I got tired of the long upload URL, so I defined some
simpler ones. The WG upload directory is now
<http://wg.wirelessman.org>. I'll send a note about the rest of the
upload directory aliases.

>>Roger,
>>
>>Here's the 1st of 2 ... this was approved by both .11 and .15 at
>>the mid-week plenaries. 2nd one is set for closing plenary tomorrow
>>(Fri, Sydney time) ... will forward as soon as approved here.
>>
>>While the subject band may/may not be of interest to .16, the issue
>>is the ARRL's broad challenge of the FCC's authority to authorize
>>unlicensed devices that (might, maybe, could possibly [on the wrong
>>phase of a blue moon]) cause some occasional interference to
>>amateur operations that basically don't exist.
>>
>>Please try to get this passed without changes ... changes will
>>cause me deadline problems. This must be filed on May 30, and I
>>have to give SEC a 5 day review period.
>>
>>Everyone here (.18 folks, plus Bob H. and Stuart K.) were very
>>happy with the document.
>>
>>I'll be back in Allentown next week ... if you have any questions,
>>call me at my home office or cellphone.
