stds-802-16: Session #27 info and hotel reservations
As previously announced, IEEE 802.16's Session #27 will be held on 8-11 September 2003 in Denver, Colorado, USA. The session will be hosted by Roger Marks, with the support of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society.
I am happy to say that the IEEE 802 Handoff Study Group has unanimously voted to co-locate with us. They will be meeting on 8-9 September.

The reservation deadline is Sunday, August 17, 2003, after which the room block and rate are not guaranteed. To reserve your room on the phone, mention "IEEE 802.16". Please stay at the session hotel. You will be able to take advantage of the special negotiated group rate of $105/night (plus tax) and will help the Working Group fulfill its obligations in the hotel contract. The group rate is available from Friday 5 September until Sunday 15 September.
On-line preregistration is not yet open. The anticipated registration fee is $120, if preregistered. The fees will be payable directly to the hotel on-site by credit card.
In deference to the Handoff Study Group, the usual Wednesday evening social may be moved to Tuesday. If you know of a company interested in sponsoring the social, you can let me know.
