stds-802-16: start NOW to obtain your visa for Session #31
Dear IEEE 802.16 Participants,
Please be aware that IEEE Session #31 <http://ieee802.org/16/meetings/mtg31> will be held on 17-20 May 2004 at the Crowne Plaza Shenzhen in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China. The session will be hosted by Rajesh Bhalla. Check the web page for some basic schedule and travel information.
Note that a visa is required for entrance into China. You will need to present a letter of invitation, along with additional paperwork, to the Chinese Visa Office in your own locality to obtain your visa. The host company, ZTE, will provide invitation letters for visa applications. To request a letter of invitation, download the invitation request form:

Visa applications need to be processed well in advance. I highly recommend that you initiate the process ASAP by requesting your letter of invitation.
At the web site, you will also find information on reserving your hotel room. The deadline is May 2.
