DSx initiation by
the SS is optional. According to WiMAX profiles it is not mandatory to support it.
Specifically it is not mandatory for the SS to be able to initiate DSD. However,
looking at the service flow state transition diagram (figure 99) when in the “Adding
Remote” DSA-Erred shall result in DSD-Local. DSD-Local (figure 104) shall
start with sending a DSD-REQ. There seems to be a contradiction here since DSA
initiated by the BS requires that SS shall be capable to initiate DSD-REQ. Can you please
help to resolve this contradiction? |
