[STDS-802-16] release of IEEE P802.16e/D5
The new draft P802.16e/D5-2004 ("Draft Amendment to IEEE Standard for
Local and Metropolitan Area Networks - Part 16: Air Interface for
Fixed and Mobile Broadband Wireless Access Systems - Amendment for
Physical and Medium Access Control Layers for Combined Fixed and
Mobile Operation in Licensed Bands") is now available:

I've asked IEEE to put the 376-page D5 up for sale, in place of D4.

Once again, our Chief Technical Editor, Ron Murias, has worked like
mad to get us a quality draft in time for recirculation. Ron got a
help this time from Jose Puthenkulam as well as Itzik Kitroser. Ron
fought his way through this to the end, spending many hours to get
this done about an hour ago. Here's to Ron!
Working Group Confirmation Ballot #14d, with this draft under review,
will be announced in a few minutes.
