Re: [STDS-802-16] Doubt regarding Phy Layer

Hi
Answer to second question,
Each bin has one pilot. Therefore subtracting 6 pilots we're left with 48 subcarriers.

Subject: [STDS-802-16] Doubt regarding Phy Layer

Hi,

Can somebody resolve my doubts,

The doubt is regarding the section 8.4.6.3.2 Band-AMC operation in normal DL/UL-MAP

In 802.16 D7

1) If the BS does not allocate the Band AMC subchannels within the specified delay (CQICH Band AMC Transition Delay) in the UCD

Message, the SS reports the updated average CINR for the allocation of subchannel with distributed subcarrier permutation.

But AMC is Adjacent subcarrier allocation right?

2) How Fast Feedback and AMC are compatible,

Because FastFeedback need’s 48 Data subcarriers and for AMC the allocation is 1bin/6slots or 2bin/3slots =9*6 = 54.

Thanks & Rgds
