Andy,
At Delhi airport, there are ATMs as well as exchange counters that will
convert your money to INR (Indian Rupees).
Any VISA / Mastercard ATM will do. Currency (or travel check) can be
exchanged to INR at exchange-counters.
Thx, -Praveen

Aditya
I have not found a UK travel agent willing to sell me Indian Rupees. Is
export of local Indian currency prohibited? Should we be bringing US
dollars instead? Any advice welcome, thanks.
Regards
Andy
