Meeting Time: Thursday June8, 2006 06:00 – 08:00 PDT Venue: conference call Minutes: - Please let me know if I’ve missed any participants. - The following minutes capture the major points of
discussion and agreement/disagreement. I did not attempt to capture
everybody’s statements/positions in the minutes. If I have omitted
anything significant, please let me know 1) Group
agreed to have a separate figure for sections 3.1, 3.2, and 3.4. 2) Group
agreed to make the following modifications to figure 2 (the topology construct
diagram) ·
Add the line
between MMR-BS and MS and between RS and MS to show that and MS can communicate
to two RSs or to the MMR-BS and RS. ·
Remove the
distinction between different RS types and simplify the figure. Add text to
coverage on mobile vehicle section to discuss the different cases of RSs on a
vehicle. 3) Group
agreed to remove the asymmetric route figures from section 5.3 and to instead
refer to figure 2. 4) Group
agreed to not discuss the notion of transmitting control and data plane traffic
along different routes because it was felt that this is getting into solutions,
rather than usage models. 5) Group
agreed to remove the figure and most of the discussion of redundant routes (section
5.4) and to replace it with a general statement on the existence of multiple
routes. 6) Group
agreed to remove section 6.3 because the current section does not capture any
useful information, and additional details on RS complexity requires us to make
assumptions about implementation choices that would be made. This is outside
the scope of the document. Attendees: Andrew Baek - Triocom Dharma Basgeet -
