[STDS-802-16] Upper Layers of WiMAX

Hi All,

I want to get clarify on the following questions Pls. answer if anyone 
knows.

1.  Whether 3G Layer3 will fit as layer3 in WiMAX CPE or BS. if it is not 
why are they different.

2. Where is the layer3 architecture is being defined for WiMAX. What are 
the sub layers of layer3 in WiMAX as in 3G(CM,MM,CC,GCC).

3. Why there is no common layer3 is defined in telecommunication system.

4. How does multi-mode CPE works in WiMAX. Whether GSM in WiMAX-CPE will 
work independent of WiMAX and connects with different/same operators. Is 
WiMAX-CPE allows to make use of different technology(like GSM,3G,WiMAX) 
simulteneously.

5.  Any New connection(Primary,Secondary) is created for every voip call If 
so how does these connection is being mapped for VOIP/ any call


Some of these question may not be relevant to this forum. But for sure I 
could get answer from here.
