Re: [STDS-802-16] [Relay TG] [HARQ Ad-hoc] HARQ Ad-hoc announement

Title: Re: [STDS-802-16] [Relay TG] [HARQ Ad-hoc] HARQ Ad-hoc announement
Dear All,

This is regarding the following email from the Relay TG chair where multiple ad-hoc groups are setup to resolve remaining comments and bring possible resolution to next meeting in Atlanta.

With that respect, we would like to initiate comment resolution discussion on the ad-hoc group # 5 "HARQ".

We have categorize HARQ comments (total 20) that are assigned to HARQ Ad-hoc group into 6 categories so that we can deal with them faster.

1. HARQ issues -                932, 942, 948, 949,
2. minor editorial/technical -  169, 731, 748, 752, 755, 756,
2. Erroneous tx -               760, 761
4. HARQ for tunneling -         723, 759, 767
5. HARQ for RS Grouping -       731, 753, 768
6. HARQ for DCH -               728, 962

If you are interested in participating in this ad-hoc, please send email directly to me with your name/email/Time zone. I will form separate email distribution list to discuss these comments. However, meeting announcement and meeting minutes will be sent to WG email reflector.

We are planning to hold 2 meeting (if more is needed, we can discuss during Ad-hoc meeting). In first meeting, we expect to have resolution on categories 1, 2 and 3. Also hoping to have discussion on categories 4, 5 and 6 and asking for the proponent to harmonize if there are multiple solutions in that category.
In 2nd meeting, we can discuss remaining open items from categories 1,2 and 3. Also if consensus is reached for categories 4,5 and 6 then we can propose recommendation.

Best regards,
-shashi
(on behalf of HARQ ad-hoc chair team - Shashikant Maheshwari, Mike Hart)
