[STDS-802-16] [Relay TG] RS Grouping and Corporative Relaying Ad-hoc Group conference call

Title: [Relay TG] RS Grouping and Corporative Relaying Ad-hoc Group conference call

Dear All,

As informed in the previous email, the first conference call organised by the "RS Grouping and Cooperative Relay" Adhoc group formed by the relay TG chair will be held tommorrow (Tuesday, 30th of October,  13.00-15.00 hrs GMT).

This email is to clarify the conference time,  since some of the members are concerned about the impact of day light savnig time changes of different time zones..

As per the information I have,  the daylight time saving for both Canada and US occurs this year on Sunday 04th of November and that of European Union was already passed (Oct 28). So the starting times provided in the earlier email (shown below) are valid.

"(NA PST 06:00) (NA CST 08:00) (NA EST 09:00) (London: 13.00 hrs) (China 21:00) (Japan/Korea 22:00) - if there is any confusion due to day light saving etc, GMT time is taken as the scheduled time."

Best regards,

Gamini Senarath

(On behalf of the RS Grouping and Cooperative Relay Adhoc chair team)

Subject:         [Relay TG] RS Grouping and Corporative Relaying Ad-hoc Group announcement & meeting call

Dear all,
This is regarding the attached email from relay TG chair, on setting up of ad-hoc groups in order to facilitate the resolution of remaining comments in LB28 in 16j/D1.

Accordingly, we would like to invite people who are interested in joining the ad-hoc group #7, "RS Grouping and Cooperative Relay". If you are interested, please send an email to me with the following information: [Your name, Email address and Time Zone].  We will use this email list for comment resolution discussions and announcement of upcoming teleconferences. Comments assigned to this ad-hoc group are indicated at the end of this email.

We also like to announce two conference calls for this ad-hoc group as indicated below:

If there is a need for more conference calls,  we will decide it in these sessions.
Since we have discussed and harmonized some of the comments in meeting #51, we expect that many comments can be resolved easily. Therefore, in order to shorten the time in the conference calls, we have uploaded a status chart to indicate the initial view on how to resolve these comments. See the file: http://dot16.org/CSUpload//upload/Relay_db/S80216j-07_542.ppt

Some of these recommendations are based on the harmonization effort we had in meeting #51 in Malaga. This is just to initiate a discussion to expedite the resolution process. All the items will be discussed in the conference calls and you are invited to send your views on these proposed resolutions to chairs of this ad-hoc group.

Thanks for your cooperation,

Gamini Senarath
On behalf of ad hoc group chair team (Gamini Senarath and Adrian Boariu)
