The network entry and ranging ad hoc group have approved the following meeting minutes.
Conference Call (1): Wednesday, Oct 31, GMT 12:00-14:00 (2 hours)
1. Roll call 2. The chair announced that those comment that were marked “accept” or “reject” in the draft comment database of the ad hoc group would become group’s recommendations in batch mode by the end of second conference call. Any member could ask a comment to be reviewed by the group via email. There was no objection to above comment processing rule after the announcement. 3. Discuss RS configuration comments. Agreements: Two RS configuration messages 1. RCD (R-link Channel Descriptor) for R-link parameters – unicast or broadcast. 2. RS_Config-CMD (RS Configuration Command) for RS parameters – unicast or multicast. 3. Unicast RCD or RS-Config-CMD shall be acknowledged by the MR_Generic-ACK message. 4. RS_Config-RCM and RS_Member_List_Update messages are excluded from the discussion and should be handled by the RS Group ad hoc group.. Disagreements: 1. Multicast RS_Config-CMD requires acknowledgement or not? 4. Based on the conclusion, the chair would write a contribution to accommodate all RS configuration related comments, and then ask the ad hoc group to review/comment via email.
