The March 2008 IEEE 802 LMSC Plenary Session will be held during the week of March 16-21, 2008. All working groups will be meeting at the Caribe Royale Resort and Convention Center along with all tutorials and calls for interest. Orlando offers IEEE 802 plenty of shopping, dining, cultural attractions, site seeing, and nightlife in the area. There are numerous cultural destinations including the Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, The Titanic Experience, and the Orlando Science Center within easy reach of the Caribe Royale via car or shuttle service.
The Caribe Royale is 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport – MCO. From MCO, a variety of transportation options including taxis and shuttles and a full range of vehicle rental services are available to accommodate your needs. Please pre-register now and save $100.00US. The web pre-registration fee is $400.00US if you web register by 6pm PST, Friday, February 29, 2008 (UTC Time: Saturday, March 1, 2008 -2am), thereafter the registration fee is $500.00US. These fees cover your Continental Breakfast, Coffee Breaks, Wednesday Evening Social, AV & Network Services, and other related meeting services.
Any individual who attends any part of a meeting that is a scheduled part of an 802 Plenary Session must register for the full session and pay the current registration fee.
PLEASE NOTE: You may pick up your registration materials, detailed meeting agenda, and name badge at the IEEE 802 Registration Desk located at the Caribe Royale Convention Center. Registration services will be available Sunday evening, March 16, between 5-8 pm EDT and Monday thru Thursday, March 17-20, between 7:30 am and 5pm EDT.
