Re: [STDS-802-16] FW: Review of draft-ietf-mipshop-fh80216e-06.txt

Hi,

In "Network Topology Acquisition and Network Selection" informative
section the document contains next text:

"A BS supporting mobile functionality shall broadcast a MOB_NBR-ADV
message including the network topology periodically (maximum interval,
1sec.)."

Unfortunately, I do not find this requirement in current spec. The
section 10 contains only max value equal to 30 sec.

Could somebody refer me to the original place of this requirement for
maximum interval equal to 1 sec? May be this is new requirement
introduced by draft itself?

Thanks.

Hi,

The MIPSHOP WG is working on a document that specifies how to use
FMIPv6 (Fast handovers for Mobile IPv6) over 802.16e links. You
can find the draft the following URL.

http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-mipshop-fh80216e-06.txt

FMIPv6 is specified in
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-mipshop-fmipv6-rfc4068bis
-04.txt

We would like the IEEE 802.16 group to review this document and
let us know if they have any comments or issues.

Regards
Vijay
