[STDS-802-16] Session #57 Attendance: IEEE Web Account and IEEE SA-PIN required

At Session #56, the 802.16 Working Group began using the IEEE-SA Meeting Attendance Tool for logging and tracking session participation. We will continue to use this tool at each session. Please remember that Working Group Membership depends on session participation. 

In order to use the IEEE-SA Meeting Attendance Tool, you must have an IEEE Web Account and know your IEEE SA-PIN. Please check that you have an account and know your username and password. If you do, you should ensure that your contact information is up to date. If you don't, you should establish one before you attend a session.

Instructions are provided below and are self-explanatory. However, if you require assistance, you may contact:

YOU MUST HAVE AN IEEE WEB ACCOUNT TO LOG YOUR MEETING ATTENDANCE

STEP 1. Do you have an IEEE Web Account (IEEE Database)?

?GO CREATE A WEB ACCOUNT à http://ieee.org à look for "Set up IEEE Web account"

?IMPORTANT! Your IEEE Web Account holds your contact information.  Make sure this is up to date by logging into your Web Account and review/update your contact information.

STEP 2. Have you visited myProject (Standards Association Database)?

?Log onto myProject à https://development.standards.ieee.org/my-site
Once logged in, your main myProject? page displays your SA-PIN. Make a note of your SA-PIN!

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS
?Click "Manage Activity Profile"
?Expand IEEE COMPUTER SOCIETY
?Expand LOCAL AND METROPOLITAN AREA NETWORKS
?Check the box for any Working Groups (GREEN) that you are interested in, including 802.16
?Click CONTINUE
?Specify your affiliation
?YES: Make a note of your SA-PIN! If you don't know it, log into myProject as explained above. You are now ready to use the Meeting Attendance Tool.  Further instructions will be provided when you arrive at the meeting.
