Subject: [802.16m][Relay] Relay RG Commentary DB Uploaded

Dear Relay RG Participants,

The Relay RG session will be held this evening from 8-11 PM in room Aventine F. We have uploaded a commentary DB with all of the comments to the following location: http://192.168.168.10//802.16/ul//upload/temp_db/C80216m%2dRelay%2d09_006.cmt . Please note that this is the local copy of the Temp directory.

We would also like to announce the process which we intend to use in the meeting. We will discuss it briefly in the meeting.

-          We will first go through comments on existing text and will handle contributions that suggest additional text second.

-          We have grouped the comments into groups that correspond to sentences/paragraphs in the document. We will deal with the comments in these groups according to the following general process. (We will modify the process depending on the specific text and comments).

o        We will introduce the comments and discuss the concept being captured in the text.

o        If there does not appear to be clear consensus, we will conduct some straw polls to determine which direction the group is leaning

o        We will select a comment and vote on that comment and supersede others in the group if that comment passes. Voting will be done using a 50% majority.

-          If there is not consensus on a given piece of text, we will defer discussion on that text to the second session to allow time for harmonization.

-          After we have handled all comments, we will have a motion to remove all remaining bracketed text from the document.

Best Regards,

Jerry, Ken, Yousuf
