Re: [STDS-802-16] Draft TGm Agenda for Session #63 and #63.5

Phil,

Thank you for announcing the availability of the agendas:

In the agenda for Session #63:

PHY track will cover the following comments: D1 clauses 15.2.9; all of 15.3; 15.4.9-15.4.12;

MAC track will cover the following comments: D1 clauses 1-5.35; 15.1-15.2.8; 15.4.9-15.4.12;

As you can see from the above 15.4.1 – 15.4.8 is not covered anywhere (FYI, 15.4 is the Femto Clause).

One cannot conclude that Femto is being excluded from discussion because some of the Femto sections (15.4.9 – 15.4.12) are being covered in both the tracks.

It seems very likely that 15.4.1 – 15.4.8 just got left out by mistake. Is that correct?

Perhaps a short clarification would help everyone.

Thanks and Kind Regards,

Subject: [STDS-802-16] Draft TGm Agenda for Session #63 and #63.5

On behalf of Brian Kiernan:

This is an announcement of the availability of the Draft Agendas for:

Draft TGm Agenda for Session 63, Jeju, Korea <http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/16/tgm/docs/80216m-09_0038.doc>

Draft TGm Agenda for Session 63.5, Kona, Hawaii <http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/16/tgm/docs/80216m-09_0039.doc>

The plan is to complete resolution of all WG Letter Ballot #30 comments by the end of Session #63.5 and initiate a ballot recirculation in the period prior to Session #64.

The TGm leadership is taking the precaution of providing these Draft Agendas due to the less-than-common nature of the pending back-to-back 802.16 Interim Meeting schedule for late August and mid-September. The TGm draft agendas are being provided substantially in advance in order to provide additional insight into the proposed work at the meetings, to help Members plan and organize their participation.

Participants are encouraged to include comments on the topics of SON, LBS, e-MBS, and Relay among their WG Letter Ballot #30 comments. Those comments should refer to contributions submitted in response to IEEE 802.16m-09/0037 ("Call for Contributions on Project 802.16m Amendment Content.")

The plan is to defer, until Session #63.5, resolution of all WG Letter Ballot #30 comments on the topics of SON, LBS, e-MBS, and Relay.

A Call for Reply Comments will be issued, following Session #63, regarding all deferred WG Letter Ballot #30 comments. Such Reply Comments will be due shortly before Session #63.5. Reply Comments will be welcome from individuals as well as from Drafting Groups initiated at Session #63
