Any other business Regards, Reza From: Arefi, Reza Brief notes from the teleconference: Attendees: Mitsuo Nohara Sassan Ahmadi Mark Cudak Takashi Shono Nader Zein On L802.16-09/0050d1: One member stated he is working on update of sections 4.1 of the
document, including clean up and adding references to the draft standard. Also
for section 3, he will submit text based on a paper in IEEE Communications
Magazine. The updates will be sent before the next teleconference. Another member stated plans to submit a contribution on section 4.2
but possibly after the deadline of 24th. One member also reported that WF TWG is working on submitting a
contribution addressing some areas in section 4.1. On L802.16-09/0051d1: On member stated intent to submit contribution towards section 2.4,
technical performance compliance template, on spectral efficiency, mobility requirements,
and VoIP. The material, however, will not be ready before the middle of next
week. There was also intent expressed in providing material for section 2.2,
Services template, towards fulfilling the Editor’s Notes in that section.
It was also expressed that other elements of section 2.4 could be fulfilled
using material from contributions previously submitted to the Working Group. On L802.16-09/0052d1: Questions were asked about the status of IEEE-SA patent policy and
similarities with the process of IPR compliance during IMT-2000 inclusion of
802.16 standard in 2007. It is expected that similar process would apply to
IMT-Advanced submission. On member proposed to postpone the next teleconference from 25
August to 27 August to allow for contributions to be shared with the group. The
proposal was accepted. Our next teleconference will happen on Thursday, 27
August 2009 at 20:00 US Eastern time (Note: this is one hour earlier than
today’s call to accommodate members attending meetings on that day).

Call for Comments and Contributions for IMT-Advanced Submission, and reflected
in ITU Liaison Group closing plenary report of July 2009 session, L802.16-09/0084r1,
the correspondence activity to further the work of IMT-Advanced submission
includes teleconferences to discuss early contributions. First of these calls is set to occur on 20 August 2009. Below is
