Folks,
The IEEE-SA Standards Board has approved two actions from IEEE 802.16:
(1) IEEE Std 802.16h is now an approved standard. Congratulations to Mariana Goldhamer and the License-Exempt Task Group. I'll forward the formal announcement when I receive it. We'll be looking to recruit some reviewers to help ensure that the final publication is correct.
(2) The 802.11n PAR (on "Higher Reliability Networks") is now an authorized product. This is still assigned to the GRIDMAN Study Group, which remains active through the July Plenary. I'm still considering the Task Group structure for developing the draft.
Roger
