Re: [STDS-802-16] Registration is reopened now! For IEEE 802.16 Session #69 in St. Petersburg, Russia

Hi Roger,

Thank you.  I was using the one on the form.  It figures that I’d fall for the old ‘fax it to the fax number we give you’ trick J

George,

It's worth considering the phone number you are using.

I can think of three that have been mentioned for fax:

+7 812 740 3913 [given below]

+7 812 356 4496 [on the reservation form]

+7 812 356 6094 [on the hotel's web site]

I called Park Inn worldwide; they didn't know about the first two, but they said the last one should work.

I’ve tried to FAX the hotel reservation form a total of 15 times since yesterday.  I either get a fax failure (error message: “first page failed to send fully”) or I get “no answer”.  I checked the number a dozen times & talked to a colleague who is having similar problems sending the room-reservation fax.  I do not wish to use email since I have to send my credit card number and I don’t consider email very secure.

Is anyone having success faxing their reservation form?

Dear ALL IEEE 802.16 members,

We have discovered that the current credit card payment system is leading to people spending a lot of time trying to make the payment. We are doing our best to fix this problem ASAP.

So, I would like to ask you to postpone the registration attempts until we inform you about resolution of this issue.

We are sorry for this inconvenience.
