Re: [STDS-802-16] Moving to new opportunities

Scott,

Difficult to replace the wingman at the front table.

Even more difficult to replace the professionalism, dedication and camaraderie.

Good luck on your future work.

I am sure we will be seeing you again. It is a small world.

Thanks,
Phillip Barber

Subject: [STDS-802-16] Moving to new opportunities

Hi All,

Happy New Year! I hope you have been able to enjoy some time with your family & friends over the past few weeks.

Six years ago I attended my first 802.16 session, #37, and these six years have been a wonderful time for me. It has been my privilege to work with you and to gain richly from your friendship. Along the way we have created a significant body of work which continues to influence and shape our industry. I am grateful to have been a part of this work.

Starting in this New Year I have taken a new assignment in Nokia and thus I will not be able to participate in the future sessions of the work group. Since the first half of 2010 I have been proud to serve as Secretary of your work group. Thank you Roger for this opportunity. I must now resign from this office, and I am sorry I will not be able to join you all next week to tell you this in person. Thank you also to Brian & Phil for allowing me to help out with 16m activities, and to Ron for allowing me to join the editorial team. It has all been a great experience for me.

Thanks for allowing me to work with you. I wish you success in your endeavors, and look forward to when we may meet again.

Sincerely,

Scott Probasco
