Sunday, November 6, 2011 through Friday, November 11, 2011.
Thank you for your interest in attending the November 2011 IEEE-802 Plenary Session. All Working Group meetings & 802 Tutorials will be held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on Peachtree Street, in downtown Atlanta, GA USA during the week of November 6-11, 2011.

Session Registration: Any individual who attends any part of a meeting that is a scheduled part of an IEEE-802 Plenary Session must register for the session and pay the required fees.
Registration is now available at our secure website. Session registrations are not transferable to another individual or to another plenary session. If you register for an IEEE-802 session and then are unable to attend, you must request cancellation of your registration before the cancellation deadline (6pm PST, Nov 7, 2011) to be eligible for refund of all or part of fees paid.

Registration Fees and Hotel Discount:
The Registration Fee will be discounted by $300 US for attendees booking & staying one or more nights in the 802-contracted hotel: the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
Note: repayment of the $300 US discount will be required at onsite registration, if your hotel stay cannot be verified by the hotel (i.e. your name must appear on the hotel’s list of registered guests or you must show written proof of hotel registration and room number).

SINGLE/DOUBLE OCCUPANCY: $145.00 US/night plus all applicable taxes
Note: Group rate deadline subject to room availability. Please book as early as possible to ensure getting a room at this great group rate.
EXTRA PERSONS (>2): $20.00 US/night for each additional adult person (≥21 years)
*If you know the members of your rooming party in advance of your arrival please list all of their names on your hotel reservation so their room stay can be verified by the hotel.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2011 at 6pm EDT, (Atlanta Time = Eastern Daylight Time).
HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY:
No charge for hotel reservations cancelled prior to 6pm EDT (Atlanta Time) on Date of Arrival; but after this time 1-night’s room and tax will be charged for late cancellations.
EXTENDED DATES:
Group Rates are offered over the extended dates of Thursday, October 27th, through Monday, November 21st, subject only to room availability.
CHILDREN POLICY:
There is No-Charge for Children 21 years of age or younger sharing a room with parents.

PLEASE NOTE: Guests who make a RESERVATION with multiple guests in the room need to print out the RESERVATION page upon making the booking for their reference.
The CONFIRMATION email from the Hyatt Regency Atlanta will contain the names of additional travelers. This page may be submitted via email to the meeting planner to expedite the Event Registration check-in process at the hotel.
Please ensure each guest is prepared to provide this proof of stay at Event Registration.
TRANSPORTATION to & from HYATT REGENCY ATLANTA:
Arranging airport transportation to & from the hotel is easy because of the convenient downtown location, only 11 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL).
Atlanta Airport Shuttle Service (T.A.A.S.S.). Phone # 404.941.3440. No reservations are necessary for arranging transportation from the Atlanta Airport to the hotel. It runs 6 a.m. to midnight from the airport and it leaves the hotel every 10 and 40 minutes after the hour. $16.50 US one way/$29.00 US round trip per person.
Taxi Service:
To/From airport fee: Approximately $30.00 US plus $2.00 per each additional person
Downtown Taxi Metered Rates:
$2.50 = First 1/7 mile; $2.00 = Each additional 1 mile; $21.00/hr = Waiting time
Taxi service within downtown Atlanta has an $8.00 minimum.
M.A.R.T.A.
(Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) $2.50 per ride. Rail system runs approx every 10 minutes. Hyatt Regency Atlanta is connected to Peachtree Center Train Station via Peachtree Center Mall. 20 minutes from Airport. (Airport pickup at baggage claim, TH Terminal. To get to Hyatt, take M.A.R.T.A. to the Peachtree Center Station and exit Northeast towards Peachtree Center Mall.
