Dear 802.16 Folks, The P802.16p/D3 draft is in IEEE Sponsor Ballot, with a deadline of 2012-03-08, 11:59pm ET. If you are a member of the Sponsor Ballot Group, you should have been notified on how to participate using IEEE-SA's myBallot system. The P802.16.1b/D2 draft is in IEEE Sponsor Ballot, with a deadline of 2012-03-11, 11:59pm ET. This ballot opened a few hours ago, and Sponsor Ballot Group members should receive a notification at the end of the day (ET). If you are not a member of the Sponsor Ballot Group, you are not entitled to vote. However, comments that you submit directly to the WG will be considered. These should be prepared in Commentary, as follows: *For P802.16p, use the Ballot ID "sb000p" and upload to the "sb000p" folder of the 802.16 upload server <http://upload.wirelessman.org>. *For P802.16.1b, use the Ballot ID "010b" and upload to the "sb010b" folder of the 802.16 upload server <http://upload.wirelessman.org>. Sponsor Ballot Group members may also submit comments in Commentary according to this procedure. However, please be aware that no comments submitted directly to the WG will be considered as part of a Disapprove vote. For any comment to be considered as a valid element of a Disapprove vote, the comment must be entered into the myBallot database by the voter. Please do not submit the same comment using both processes, as this would result in needless complication. After the ballot closes, we'll transfer all comments into a single Commentary database for comment resolution. There is sufficient time for reply comments, although not a lot in the case of P802.16.1b. If necessary, your comments may refer to an uploaded contribution document. Contributions must follow the new IEEE 802.16 Document Submission Instructions <http://ieee802.org/16/submit.html>. In order to ensure that all parties to the Sponsor Ballot are explicitly aware of your contribution and where to find it, it is essential that you refer to it properly, by document number, in your comment. Upload your contribution using the IEEE 802.16 Mentor documentation system <http://doc.wirelessman.org>, using the following file codes: *For P802.16p, use File Code 000p. *For P802.16.1b, use File Code 010b.
