The results of IEEE 802.16 Letter Ballot #37 are as follows:
40 affirmative votes 1 negative vote 2 abstention votes
However, the ballot does not meet the approval conditions due to the return ratio; a 50% minimum, of the 87 members, was required. We can address this deficiency next time.

Accordingly, IEEE 802.16 Working Group Letter Ballot #37 is now open, through 6 March 2012 ET. This ballot is being conducted using the "ePoll" feature of the IEEE Mentor system. The ballot web page includes links to cast your vote and review the ballot status. As detailed on that same page, comments and contributions are solicited using the normal 802.16 methods; please do not submit comments through IEEE Mentor.
Note that Mentor ePolls use a deadline of midnight ET. This is earlier than AOE. Comments will be accepted through the deadline date AOE. Please remember the Members' obligation to participate: "Membership shall be lost if two consecutive, or two of any three consecutive, Working Group letter ballots for which the member was eligible are not returned or are returned with an abstention other than for 'lack of technical expertise'."
