[STDS-802-16] Fwd: 802.1 Working Group ballot of P802.1AC/D1.0

The material below is from an announcement of the 802.1 Working Group
ballot for P802.1AC/D1.0 - Media Access Control (MAC) Service Definition.
The 802.16 WG members have been invited to participate. Please take
particular note of subclause 12.3 ("WirelessMAN convergence function"),
which was drawn from IEEE Std 802.16k.
Per the instructions, the deadline is 18 July. An opportunity to discuss
and harmonize comments within the 802.16 WG could be provided during
Session #92. Please let me know if you would like to include time for
this in the agenda.

This Email is attached to an official 802.1 Working Group ballot form for P802.1AC/D1.0 - Media Access Control (MAC) Service Definition. This is a full Working Group ballot. Only 802.1 voting members and liaisons are entitled to vote, and voting has been extended for this ballot to 802.11 and 802.16 voting members. Additionally however, any non-voting participants in the activities of 802.1 may submit a "Comment Only" ballot on the draft. In accordance with established practice in 802 and the IEEE, all comments received, whether from voters or non-voters, are given due consideration during the Ballot resolution process.

As is normal with such ballots, comments should specify not only what problems have been identified with the text, but also what the commenter proposes as a solution.

Comments can be generated using Excel or an equivalent spreadsheet program that will read XLS or CSV format files. Attach the resultant file, in XLS or CSV format, to your ballot response email.
