I am currently working on a set of primitives and triggers for consideration.  I will try to have them ready in the next couple of weeks.

I'm planning to take to the IETF a more detailed variant of the link layer triggers presentation I gave at the last meeting, with the purpose of getting some feedback and ahead of the next IEEE meeting.
 
I'm wondering if anybody has pursued this further and wants to contribute that work to the document. Also I'm wondering if any IETF participants have good suggestions as to the appropriate forums to take it to. I've not been to the IETF before (I'm dyed in the wool IEEE :) ) so I don't have many reference points.
