Hi,

    The Source Node can arbitrarily choose the inner or outer ring for ARP request. The Destination node, upon receiving ARP request would then determine the inner or outer ring depending on the hop count of either ring in the topology map.

 

The ARP packet would be consistent with IP layer ARP.

 

Packets can traverse either ring in normal mode.

        The ARP in context with the SRP is same as IP layer ARP or a different one?
