All, please note that the responsibility for
reviewing the comments and proposed comment resolutions for the terms and
definitions has now turned from the Terms and Definitions comment resolution
group, to the 802.17 Working Group. At the November meeting we will vote
on accepting all of the proposed comment resolutions that are uncontested.
We will not be reviewing the comments one at a time. The assumption will
be that everybody has already done that, and has prepared, in writing, and
submitted to the reflector (or worst case, at the meeting, prior to discussions)
the concerns they have with any of the proposed comment resolutions. There
will be on going ad-hoc work to resolve issues raised with the proposed comment
resolutions. The output of those meetings will be altered resolutions
that get presented to the Working Group.
Please take the following action
items:
1) Carefully review all of the proposed resolutions
to your comments. If you disagree with how they were handled post a
clearly worded explanation of your position to the reflector and work directly
with Bob Sultan and Bob Castellano on a new proposed resolution to your
concerns.
2) Carefully review all remaining proposed
resolutions and post any and all concerns you have with them to the
reflector. If others have already posted similar concerns then it
would be appropriate to reference the previously posted notes.
3) Please limit all reflector posts to a single
topic and a single issue. The single issue may span multiple
comments. However, it will be easiest to deal with issues if they are each
expressed in separate notes.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Robert D. Love
