[RPRWG] Draft schedule and forthcoming items
Title: Announcement of opening of 802.17 D0_2 Working Group Comment Period
Colleagues,
You
should by now have received the formal notification regarding the
availability
of the
post-meeting comment resolution database, containing the
TF-approved
resolutions to the comments that we dealt with last
week. Please download this
CRD
and review it. In addition, some of you have action items and requests
for
contributions that were part of the resolutions; please
look for these as well.
The
schedule for the upcoming D0.3 version was part of my status
presentation
on May
9th. The principal dates are as follows:
1.
Draft 0.3 to be posted by June 10 for WG review. At this time, we will also
be
posting a comment resolution database containing all
of the technical and
technically-binding comments that were rejected
during comment resolution,
for
your review along with the draft. A blank comment database will be
posted
as
well so that you can submit comments.
2.
The comment submission period to close on June 23. All valid
comments
received by this date, along with the unresolved
comments from the May interim,
will
be collected into a single comment resolution database that will be
posted
for
WG review by June 24. You may then begin submitting proposed
resolutions
to
any and all of the comments.
3.
The comment database to be frozen on July 3. All proposed resolutions
that
were
received to this date, along with proposed resolutions carried over
for
unresolved comments on D0.2, will be posted on July
4.
4.
The meeting will start on July 8. We should expect to begin
comment
resolution by Tuesday afternoon at the
latest.
In
closing, I would like to commend the P802.17 Section and
Technical
Editors for their diligent and dedicated work during
the May interim. The fact that
every
one of nearly 800 technical and technical-binding comments
were
considered, and all but a few resolved, is no small
accomplishment. Thanks also
to Med
and Dave for helping out with the MAC Section comment
resolution.
Best
regards,
- Tom
Alexander
