Compliance to 802.1D/Q is being actively addressed. It is anticipated that a converged compliance approach will be presented to the 802.17 WG at the upcoming July 2002 Plenary.
An Ad-Hoc group has been formed to specificallly focus on areas that you have listed. Solid progress is being made in both understanding the issues and solution derivation. Once again, it is anticipated that these solution sets will be presented to the 802.17 WG at the upcoming July 2002 Plenary.

My question is regarding the status of the 802 bridging in 802.17 std. Have the issues such as Transparent v/s Encapsulated bridging, frame formats, broadcast/multcast, flooding etc been resolved?.
